British artist Ben Hassett (born London, 1974) is well known for his body of editorial and portrait work that spans more than two decades.
His first monograph, COLOR, published in 2019, presented a cross section of his iconic and visceral photographic work.
His daily practice involves experimental photography and photographic research. He examines Photography’s most significant and recurrent themes (the landscape, the still life, the nude, the floral study), and produces conceptually driven work in an effort to decode, reevaluate, and challenge conventional thinking.
In parallel to this art practice, Hassett continues to collaborate with advertising clients in his role as a commercial photographer and motion pictures director.
